Despite all of the war stories of resort developments going under, it appears that new groups with ambitious plans are stepping up to reignite the torch. I for one view that as a very good sign. The only way to get things moving again is to bring life back into them.
According to this article, Peter Niederman, CEO of Kentwood Real Estate here in Denver, there has been an 8.2% increase in showings of homes priced over $1million in all of his Denver offices. Very interesting perspective from a person who knows.
According to this press release, there has been a 20% increase in transactions over the first 5 months of this year vs. the same time frame last year. Great news for the Colorado Ski County. This is on the heels of a very similar report from the Vail Valley.
