I have always believed that Fractional was a very good way to sell real estate in high end locations. Although the industry was affected by the recession too, my prediction was that it would rebound much faster than the whole ownership side and make a much faster comeback. Judging by this and the many other similar stories I am finding; it appears to be happening!

This article presents a very interesting concept. They believe Nostalgia is a motivator for this next generation of second home buyers. I had not really given this much thought in the past, but after reading this, I do believe they are onto something here. Although it is very difficult for me to get my mind around the fact that this next generation being referred to is actually the children of the baby boomers, not the boomers themselves!

According to this rather lengthy article, US tourists are still traveling to Mexico in droves. Apparently there was a decrease in traffic during 2009, but 2010 appears to be closing the gap on what was once the hottest destination for US tourists.
